Lin Xinyun | Fashion Designer & CEO of lotlvhi
Lin Xinyun is a Singapore-based fashion designer and entrepreneur, known for her refined aesthetic and strong business vision. She is the founder and CEO of lotlvhi, a fashion brand that reflects elegance, simplicity, and modern femininity.
At the age of 18, Lin was admitted to LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, where she formally began her journey in fashion design. During her studies, she developed a solid foundation in garment construction, fabric studies, draping, and trend analysis. Beyond the classroom, she actively explored independent design, gradually shaping her signature style — a balance of minimalism, refined details, and quiet strength.
After graduating at 22, Lin entered the fashion industry and started from the ground up. As a design assistant, she was deeply involved in sample development, pattern adjustments, and communication with manufacturers. These early years provided her with hands-on experience across every stage of the production process, from concept to finished garment.
By the age of 25, she had grown into an independent designer capable of leading collections and contributing to overall product planning. During this period, she not only refined her creative direction but also developed a deeper understanding of the relationship between design and market demand.
As her experience expanded, Lin realized that working solely as a designer limited her ability to fully express her long-term vision. She aspired to create a brand that could integrate design philosophy, quality standards, and a distinct female perspective.
At 30, she made one of the most important decisions of her life — to establish her own fashion company. The early stages of entrepreneurship were challenging. From brand positioning and product development to team building, supply chain management, marketing, and client relations, she personally oversaw every aspect of the business. Through continuous learning and hands-on experience, she quickly evolved as both a designer and a business leader.
By 33, the company had entered a stable growth phase, gaining recognition in the market. The brand’s signature style — clean, wearable, and effortlessly elegant — resonated with a growing customer base.
Today, at 38, Lin has successfully transitioned from designer to entrepreneur. As CEO, she leads the company’s strategic direction while remaining actively involved in the creative process, ensuring consistency in both aesthetic and quality.
She continues to guide her team in bridging design and market needs, creating pieces that are not only visually refined but also seamlessly integrated into everyday life.
For Lin, fashion is never about fleeting trends, but about long-term expression and evolution. Through her brand, she hopes to empower more women to discover their own style and confidence.
Her journey continues — exploring new possibilities at the intersection of creativity and business.
